Undecided voters of America fill in the blanks on #SNL. “There is still a lot we don’t know.” via opalinedeathray666
Highlarious SNL skit pretty much skewers whoever the undecided voters in the upcoming election are. This is so true, and unfortunately it also applies to a lot of people who have decided already. Huge chunks of the American masses are totally lost in the fog. According to one study a majority of Americans cannot locate Iraq or Israel straightaway on a map.

America’s coolest school is getting ready to celebrate big anniversaries. Have a look! via @uwcusa @samuel0k
A unique event, 30/50 is a celebration of the United World College’s 50th anniversary and of UWC-USA’s 30th anniversary.
As 30/50 week kicks off, student performance groups are busying themselves preparing for this Saturday’s festivities! In a constant commitment to diversity, education, peace and sustainability, these students are focusing their performances and workshops to display their passions, concerns and ideas that they’ve brought to or learned here at UWC-USA.
If you’re in town please do stop by! You won’t be disappointed by the student’s performances and you’ll certainly enjoy the diverse range of activities available throughout the day.
Sunday Sundae!
As part of an ongoing UWC-USA tradition, students can sign up for what is called a “Getaway Family” where students are tied with local families in the area and can visit their homes, have dinner together, or participate in family events to get an insight into American family life and share each other’s cultures.
To my surprise, I found out today that my Getaway dad was the leader of my orientation wilderness trip! It was a nice surprise and I really got along well with him so I am really excited to have him as another person I can trust on campus. I also have 5 other Getaway siblings, 2 of which are my Japanese country mates who I don’t have any classes with, so it is really nice to know that I will be able to spend time with them off campus.

Great photos of Sundae Sunday from Sam Kessler! This event lets students and Get-Away Families meet and mingle over ice cream. The Get-Away Program matches students with local families to give both a chance to share a cultural exchange throughout the school year.
After a year without a family … I’ve finally found a home!
